Duke down 2-4 at the half. ND scores 4 unanswered. Need to stop sliding early on poles or have two slides adjusted. Wiggy had a great first half but can't do it alone. Go Duke!

The annual Notre Dame February Defensive Clinic. Duke goes 40 minutes without scoring. Too many unforced turnovers, inability to find the open man when ND slides, inability to catch the ball when in good scoring position.

Final score ND 7, Duke 3.

    We always struggle in February.

Penn's defensive system is a lot like Notre Dame's. We need to work this out by next weekend.

The good news is that working with John Galloway appears to have helped Dan Wigrizer a lot on his saves. The bad news is that clearing after the saves was a real adventure. And Duke had a lot of trouble holding onto the ball. I agree with Burnspbesq that Duke always struggles in February, but to be honest, this was a little more struggling than I had hoped for. Lots of work for Coach Danowski!
