I had to be in Charlotte this morning, and missed the game, which started at noon (I assume to clear the house before the men's game.)

Friends who did go were very impressed with Elizabeth Williams. She is the low post player that Coach P has needed for her system. At the second exhibition game, she blocked a few shots, including what started out as an uncontested 3-point shot from the corner. I do not recall the last player who played like she does. (Van Gorp, perhaps?)

This might not be the year to get over the hump, as most of the key players are freshmen and sophs, but look out next year!

Williams's stat line -- 18 points, 13 reb, 4 blocked shots. Not too shabby for a freshman's second regular season game.
