To me its obvious why they like Jay Bilas.

Bilas wants the NCAA Clearinghouse to disappear. He wants admission standards to be completely decided by the individual schools. He believes Enes Kanter should be allowed to suit up this year.

Do they like Jay Bilas... or do they just support anyone who has views that would irrefutably support the current state of UK basketball?

And to be fair, I enjoy watching and reading Jay Bilas the analyst. I do think that he purposefully chooses against Duke at times (such as giving MSU the #1 nod in his preaseason poll this year), but I still think he has very good insight into the game and I've enjoyed his contributions to DBR. And I'm not afraid to say that he has a nice sportscaster voice as well.

Bilas is a pretty smart guy. While I think he bends over backwards sometime to prove he doesn't have a Duke bias, perhaps at times--such as picking MSU over Duke in his preseason evaluations--he's consciously trying to motivate the Duke players by giving them an incentive to give their all and make a total effort to be the best.
