Maybe just the older Dukies here will recognize Ted Valentine...
April Fools?
At least it's not Lenny Wirtz.
He was the Tar Heels' sixth man on the floor.

Horse, meet cart. I'm praying we will have the opportunity to be in a game Valentine refs.
Yes, of course, of course. I thought some people might find it interesting.

I love the internets.
This is actually great news for all four teams. There's not an ounce of dead wood on that list.
Isn't Curtis Shaw the guy that stared down John Wall when wall complained (try to stay away from team-liking bias here). He's quite the hothead/quick whistle. I believe the head of NCAA officials also had to pay him a visit at half-time to discuss his officiating.
Duke has no say in who officiates. We just need to take care of business, hit shots, rebound and play lock-down defense.
I'm almost giddy at the chance to go to the champ. game, and have a chance to bring home #4. We would be ecstatic, carolina and uk fans (or anyone who hates Duke) would be pissed..love that, and ill get to see one of my favorite Duke teams win it all
I do believe that a tightly called game would be in Duke's favor.

Expect Ted Valentine to ream Duke if we get the the final game.
IIRC, the games he refed for Duke this year were atrociously one sided against Duke.
