"Duke women’s basketball signee Chelsea Gray of Stockton, California has been named Co-National Player of the Year on the 34th annual Parade All-America team. Gray shares the honor with Chiney Ogwumike of Cypress, Texas.

The 5-foot-11 point guard is a three-time Parade All-America and was selected as California’s Gatorade Girls Basketball Player of the Year. Gray has led St. Mary’s to a No. 1 ranking by USA Today and ESPN Rise. The Rams recently took home the CIF Northern California Regional Division III championship, and enter Saturday’s state title game as the defending champions.

Gray is recording averages 17.0 points, 6.3 assists, 5.4 steals and 4.2 rebounds per game at the time of her selection. She is a finalist for the Naismith High School Player of the Year and the Morgan Wooten Player of the Year awards. Gray has also been selected to play in the McDonald’s High School All-America Game, as well as the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association All-America Game. She is one of five incoming signees for Duke that comprise the top-ranked class in the nation."
