You know, considering they give out a ring every year, I am always surprised when I see how few people have actually won them!
I would give my left leg for K to get one more before retiring.
There are only 10 active college coaches with NCAA championship rings. Five are in danger of missing the tournament. So much for experience.
Mike Krzyzewski (3)
Tom Izzo
Gary Williams
Jim Boeheim
Bill Self
Jim Calhoun (2)
Roy Williams (2)
Billy Donovan (2)
Rick Pitino
Tubby Smith

Coach Fisher is at San Diego State, and has been for the last decade.
At least one ring-winner is an active blogger. Who still can't get over one loss from 19 years ago. (And whose headline writer needs a grammar lesson.)
Well, I'm not sure you can count NAIA Northwood University coach Rollie Massimino, but he is the active head coach there.
wait where's john calipari...oh wait...he's never won a ring....he's never been to a final four either!....great coach...wonder why UK wanted him so bad
