If he signs with the Heat or any other team, he will be making somewhere in the range of $1.5 million dollars. Even though Shav has been a consistent DNP-CD for the vast, vast majority of his NBA career, he has made well over 3 million dollars in the NBA in his 4 seasons of action.

Very interesting. I saw/recognized Shav at our local Whole Paycheck, err, Foods recently (about 2-3 weeks ago) and had a several minute chat with him. He told me he was playing for the (jail) Blazers and was in the area (Raleigh) to work out for a while with his old "trainer" and play some pick up at Duke. His ears perked up when I asked him if was observing/coaching at the Elite Camp as he did not know about it but indicated he would venture over and watch if he could. He indicated he was in great shape, healthy and thankful he was not injured for the first time in a while.
