It's an impressive list, but it doesn't include Boykin.http://www.ocvarsity.com/ocvarsity/s...le_1646914.php
We have now successfully recruited Mr. Basketball California for 2 of the last 4 years, if I'm not mistaken: Demarcus, and now Taylor King. I'm sure Ben Howland isnt too happy about that.
Mazel Tov Taylor!

Any word on where Jamal will be playing basketball in the future?
Boykin @ Cal-Berkeley.
We have done well recruiting in California, but sometimes our Cali guys don't live up to their hype. I am sure I am forgetting some, but the following come to mind...Nelson(he's been OK but not great), Boykin(was thought of as a role player, but transferred), Ricky Price(really disappointing career based on hype), Meek(very limited athletically), Parks(had a solid career, but i think we all wanted more. Unfortunatley tied to the '95 season), Bilas(solid 5th option on one of my favorite teams, but probably better as a TV analyst than player). Maybe Mr. King will turn it around though I feel like his lack of athleticism will hurt.
if only Cali had worked out like Alaska has . . .
Ben Bennett worked out.
Didnt Nelson break like PTS and REB record in Cali or something?
Let's focus on Alaska (Langdon, Boozer) and Virginia (Redick, Hill).
Points leader and something like 5th in rebounding (impressive considering his size).
Oh, and Chris Burgess from Mater Dei (sound familliar?)

Yeah, I did when I read that.
I forgot about Chris Burgess....geeze! How could a Duke fan forget about Chris Burgess? Let's get back to the fine states of Alaska and Virginia quickly!
Nelson is the All Time California top scorer and third highest all time rebounder.
You're welcome.
