    Congratulations to Bob Harris

    Our good friend was named the 2009 recipient of the Marvin "Skeeter" Francis Award at the ACC basketball Tournament today! The award recognizes an individual for distinguished service and promotion to the ACC. It is named for Durham native Skeeter Francis who died in 2004. Francis was a member of the ACC staff and a former Wake Forest sports information director.

    Bob has been Duke's play-by-play voice since 1976 and has called 370 consecutive Blue Devils football games and over 1,000 basketball games.

    Congrats Bob Harris, the greatest voice to hear when you can not see the game on the screen......actually I still prefer to hear him over the Announcers on tv
