Pretty much the same thing I was thinking of as the play unfolded, even the time left was almost equal. Only difference was it went to the other side of the court. Too bad the time keeper muffed it, became an anticlimactic drama after the play.

Syracuse tried the same thing at the end of regulation. Calhoun smartly put Thabeet on the inbounder.... Devendorf still managed to get the ball and get a shot up, but since the touchdown pass was tipped as it came down, by the time Devendorf put up the shot, he was 0.1 seconds too late.
