Good to see Scheyer get off the schnide...will help us in March. Good games by Henderson and Singler. Hard to pick one in the midst of my anti-Tar Heel hatred...but I'll give it to Singler. Keep wanting to give it to Scheyer tho, for coming out big in the first half for us. Love this team...hope we put it all together in the next month.

    I guess its Scheyer

but I missed the first half...so I couldn't have voted for any one.

Ty Lawson was the best player on the floor tonight. But, for the good guys, my vote goes to Kyle with very honorable mention to Lance for showing a heck of a lot of heart.

But I'm not sure anyone deserved it in the second half other than Kyle.

I'm going to have to abstain from voting in this one. Kyle was the only one who played well in the second half, but that boneheaded elbow was, IMO, the turning point in the game.

Hmm. He was trying to pull the ball out and his hand slipped. It's not like he intentionally threw an elbow.

I agree it was an important and unfortunate point in the game, however.

I voted for Jon, but I would have liked to have voted for The Sixth Man. The crowd sounded terrific tonight...lots of energy throughout game, especially when the margin got to be too large late in the game. Extra impressive because of the Africa-hot-like conditions inside CIS.

    Well done, fans!

I thought Jon looked both clutch and terrible, depending on when I was watching.

    My vote for Kyle

Had to be Kyle. his line: 22 pts, 6 rebs, 3 assists, 1 TO, 2 steals. Scheyer played ok but was 6-15 with 3 TOs, Gerald 7-16, 4 TOs, Smith was not too bad: 11 pts, 5-9, 5 rebs, 2 assists, 3 TOs, 2 steals. Paulus good in the first half, but played terrible defense on lawson. Our guards had 12 of our 15 TOs. Way too many. So it has to be Kyle Singler MOTM. Go Duke!

I voted Singler, but strongly considered Greg. He showed a ton of fight throughout the game, disrupted several defensive sequences, and hit a lot of gutsy shots. When Lawson caught fire and we had to put Nolan on him, the flow on both ends of the court subsided dramatically. Which is too bad; in the first half, we played some of our best ball with Nolan + Greg on the floor together and G on the bench. G was dazzling early on, but committed way too many streak-ending turnovers.

    Voted Paulus. Love the heart!

And to those that are disparaging his D on Lawson in the second half:
    a. Nolan didn't do any better, and
    b. not sure how many pros would have done much better.

    Thanks, Greg!

I'm just glad we don't have to watch him blow by us but one more time this year. I hope he plays well enough to make All America and he leaves for the NBA. Go Duke!

The team plays so much better when McClure is in there - too bad he isn't about 4 inches taller.

    Singler

I give it to Singler, he was giving it everything he had, but unfortunately ran out of gas as did others. Scheyer turned in a better game that the past few weeks, and Henderson had some great plays.

Honorable Mention: The "Dance a Thon" at halftime between the two older couples, they definitely left it on the floor as did the Duke players.
