    Can you recycle DirectTivo boxes?

    I switched to FIOS, and now have a couple of idle (non-HD) DirectTivo boxes. Any suggestions on recycling them? Not sure if this matters to the answer, but I added memory to each of them a couple of years ago (to increase # of hours I could record).

    There are having a hearing up here in Danvers in the next week or so to see if the Town will allow Verizon a license for FIOS TV.

    I like FIOS and am happy I did not have to shell out cash for an HD DVR to work with DirectTV. My wife really digs the Tivo interface, however, and is giving me grief about the switch. Oh well. What's done is done.
