OK, my bad, 10 not 12.

No, they didn't score the 20 points but they certainly had some assists. The quick fouls on Gibson took USC's rhythm and confidence. UNC had several offensive put-backs, so with the way Gibson was rebounding, those put-backs are unlikely.

    ugh ugh ugh ugh ugh

    Hi,

I started to get emotionally invested in the Trojans. Never again.

GO GEORGETOWN (Did I really say that?) ugh ugh ugh

GO DUKE and the rest can go to hell. I feel better already.

Georgetown has very little chance, imo. They turn the ball over too much, which will feed UNC's fastbreak and get them going. I know it's fashionable to say that UNC will have trouble with G'town's pace, but you need more than just style of play to beat these Heels. I doubt G'town's guards are good enough.

    Thumbs down final four ugh

It's shaping up to be a poopy final four:

possibly - likely? - all No. 1 seeds. ICK!

I'm pulling for UCLA, Oregon, Georgetown and egad, Memphis. This is really gross.

But I just want to see Tyler H. get frustated inside by the likes of Hibbert.

Thanks Troublemaker. I might have to wait for the Final Four to see them hopefully get knocked off.

I really hate the Heels. I think I hate them more this evening than I did at the start of it? Is that possible?

Wow, now there is a Duke Team to take notice of, though Phil Henderson may be the overachiever in that group.

    Hi,

I think Troublemaker is right. Hoyas lose. UNC marches on. I can't help but think that somewhere along the line Coach Williams will screw up, it is in his nature. He was trained by Dean Smith and he learned well.

Is that summer Horvath or winter Horvath?

Hibbert won't be in the game long enough to frustrate Hansblahblah. Hans will repeatedly run into Hibbert at full speed, and Hibbert will be on the bench in foul trouble throughout. Guaranteed.

If Georgetown is going to win, Green will have to be unreal and Summers will have to be almost as much so.

Fatigue, fatigue, fatigue. Perfect example of it last night in the unc-usc game. usc was winded, unc was rested.

Even the announcers and newspapers this morning said the same thing.

Makes those "develop the bench" arguments from earlier in the year and last week have some ground don't they?

I'm not disputing that UNC had more gas in the tank, but I wouldn't go with what the announcers say as a measure of how tired a team is. The announcers say all sorts of idiotic things.

Last night packer claimed that you could tell SoCal was more tired becuase two of their players had sweat-soaked jerseys. Halfway through the 2H That might be one of the ten dumbest things I've ever heard on a telecast. Some people sweat buckets and others very little, and it has nothing to do with fatigue.
