Certainly not a flattering article for Larry Brown. Too bad.
Has anyone else been having trouble with ESPN.com today (really slow-loading pages)? Not that I've spent an absurd amount on the interweb today or anything...
Clearing my cache seems to have cleared the problem and generally sped things up. Most importantly, I was able to get another two posts out of the deal. You can all breathe easier now.
whew. i was about to call you on your cell, home, and pager.
Yo.
More seriously (but still off-topic, that's just how I roll), my aunt works at MD Anderson UT Medical Center (big name in cancer research I think) in Houston. All the doctors still had pagers as late as ~2006. They've all been handed BlackBerrys now. Also, my wife worked at the Duke Hospital in 2007 - I'm told the doctors had text-pagers, which I guess is like SMS without a reply function.
Duke Blue planet has a handy TV schedule for Team USA. Team USA is on ESPN tonight at 8 pm Vs. Canada.
Continuing the OT slide...
We have text pagers at my company, too. It's ridiculous. We, the engineering department, have proposed that the company just give us the $5-$8/month to reimburse us for the cost of using our personal cell phones as a replacement. They haven't gone for it yet... so we all carry a cell phone and pager.
