Whew. Dad’s been flying all day solo as bundalady has a work event. Museum, Mother’s Day shopping, glad to be home and have movie time for a bit!
PEI impressions: not as pretty as Halifax or Portland, ME (cities it is most like to me). The fact that Anne of Green Gables is set here is charming though. Great beer and seafood scene. Can get reasonably priced (but still expensive) lobster, scallops, mussels and oysters. Great fish and chips spot. Great traditional English beer town. LOTS of potatoes and jellyfish. Someone said that and it didn't make sense. It does now.
