Oh, yeah. It's a beautiful area and after we found some hearty food enjoyed our ride back a good bit more. We just weren't familiar with the immediate area and oh the twists and turns!

Hate to get bad news on a Friday.
My grandfather had a huge scare a few weeks ago but pulled through.
Got news today that my grandmother has stage 4 non-alcoholic cirrhosis. She will be coming home with hospice care on Monday, not expecting to make it more than a few weeks.
Please keep my family in your thoughts and prayers.
Sorry, mattman. Sending you my best.
Thinking of you, matty.
A very specific idea to help you pass the quaran-time...

It was hot here yesterday.
I continue to accumulate more...
Daily driver: 2019 Audi S4 (not so daily nor I guess, more like weekly)
1968 Pontiac Firebird 400 coupe
1968 Pontiac Firebird 400 convertible
1970 Buick Skylark Custom convertible (waiting to get the floor pan fixed and then it will be back on the road)
1971 Pontiac Trans Am
1970 Buick GS455 convertible (awaiting frame off restoration)
The daily driver got switched from an Acura RDX in February. I added the Trans Am in November.
Lots of cars in town(San Antonio) but not as many in the Hill Country:

And two hours later, stove is clean! I know how to party on a Saturday night.
Long story...so Miley covered one of my favorite songs last night on SNL. Didn’t watch it last night but did catch it this morning. Well, there isn’t an official Pink Floyd version of the original song on YouTube, so use a fan’s version of the song. (Over 200 million views with only a dozen by me). In that version, they intersperse various images such as Floyd album covers, a Windows default background(Millennium edition I think), and many other images that may be vaguely reminiscent, Tank Man for example.
Fast forward to someone driving around the Edwards plateau region of the Texas Hill Country. As you are traversing the countryside you get a sense of déjà vu. You stop and take a picture.

Then you wonder why. And realize that 4:30 into that video they use a picture of a tree that is likely from the Texas Hill Country. Yes, escarpment live oaks. Here is the one from the video. Maybe? Maybe not?

Hoping a double rainbow on move in day is a good sign.
