I still have not done a marathon. Back in the day I probably had a decent chance at under 4 hours(10 miles around 1:10) but probably not so much now.

Why do I get the sense that this won't be the 'longest thread ever' for long? (not including the knitting thread, of course.)
Maybe we should post more?
By the way, I have had direct communication with billybreen. He's left us for good, I'm afraid. It's not that he doesn't love us, it's that he loves us too much and can't stay away from us when he's involved. It's detrimental to getting other things done. Going cold turkey is really his only option. We do want him to stay employed.
It still makes me a bit sad.
I'm a Pats fan first but I've always had a soft spot for the Saints and I think their helmets are cool. Because of last year's brush with genius when I picked the Falcons to win 10 games, plus my acquaintance with the Atlanta mafia, I now root for the Falcons too. So, yes, my two favorite teams in the NFC are New Orleans and Atlanta.
Does that make me the only person in the world who roots for the Saints and the Falcons?
Oh and Go Phillies!
Would those local to Durham please keep an eye out for a story involving a "Make A Wish" program event. It is my understanding that a Bangor, PA basketball player requested that he and his team get to meet the Blue Devil basketball team. I believe it was to happen either yesterday or next weekend. I'd be curious to hear if it makes anything on the news. (Rumor has it that one of the kids coming is a tar heel fan and plans on coming in tar heel regalia. Boo Hiss to him! His family doesn't understand his affinity for the tar heels.)
Ozzie, I realize it's autographed, but the headline says "Mantle Hurt". Huh?
What are people dressing us as for Halloween?
I'm being perverse by the way.
You've got to EARN IT!!!!!!
Hmm... This is a tough call. Might be marathons and poker are the only two sports where the people who are terrible gladly pay the prize money of the elite. I think some sort of cutoff seems reasonable. Seriously - taking a break for lunch? That's not racing - that's hiking. I admire the people who do the distance eventually, but you can do that on your own time...
