I am like actually naive. I think much depends on your worldview in how you interact with people and your surroundings. I generally travel to cities because that's where major medical facilities are. I am alone in these cities and I have been in what are considered to be some of the most dangerous neighborhoods in America. And I get out and walk everywhere. And I have been doing that for a little over ten years now and the only time I have even once felt unsafe was the time that dude pulled the knife on me in Atlanta. I have been back to Atlanta since and stayed in the same hotel and walked the same streets. I actually do assume that given the chance anyone would help you out. That probably really is naive but it's how I choose to view the world and I cherish the times and things that I have seen on my morning walks.
