I want to live in a van down by the river.
Scientists say it is flat as a pancake but they haven't ridden it on a bicycle. I swear I rode up a hill for 10 miles but it wasn't downhill on the way back. Now I know what my dad meant when he said he walked uphill through the snow both ways.
Biking Across Kansas goes west to east because it is downhill and the prevailing winds are from the west. I did BAK 17 times and can count on one hand the number of days with a tailwind.
I got a certificate from the Brigham today to honor my hard work during the pandemic.
So, I've got that going for me. Turns out just being willing to work graveyard shifts even when they don't end up needing you after all gets you on the "good list".

No big plans for the holiday. Have to mow the yard.
I'm kind of getting that late August feeling that it's time to go back to school. The covid has lengthened out this endless summer.
And summer is only 11 days old...
