I most definitely did not ask for that!

Hey Sue, here is a more recent picture of Jack Marin.
Today is Friday...
Do it!!!!!!!!!!!!
I've Devildeac-ed a string of 9 posts!
Using the new lesson from Tilly:
I don't know why, but the string of posts about the moon reminds me of poetry. Robert Frost, maybe? He tends toward pastoral themes. William Carlos Williams would work as well. Or maybe Wallace Stevens.
Wow. Where is everyone? It's almost like this is a Friday night and people have stuff to do...
And a string of three. But no more for now. Off to watch Ghost Whispererererer.
I'll be off for much of the weekend. Must clean tonight (MUST CLEAN... MUST CLEAN... MUST CLEAN...), dad arrives in the am tomorrow (Uncle Yucky for those that recall that post), then USC/UCLA on Sunday. Phew.
I thought football season was over?
DVR'd Ghost Whisperer as I was at the WBB game tonight. By the way, we beat Miami. GO DUKE!!!
Do you think they, Ghost Whisperer, jumped the shark when the killed the husband and had his spirit take another body? I sort of feel the end of the show is nearing. :(
Jumped the shark? Maybe. I don't understand why they killed Jim since the same actor is playing the new part, at least most of the time. If he wanted off the show then it would make more sense.
Small spoiler here if you haven't watched the show yet. We learn at the very end that Nicole, Sam's former girl friend, lives in Raleigh and he's off to visit her to get some answers.
I started watching GW less than a year ago, so am vaguely familiar with this story line.
FYI, I did not finish reading Ozzie's post as I have not watched GW. Must get ready for Numbers now that I'm home.
Guess that ends my PW'ing for today. Speaking of devildeac, I saw his daughter this evening. Would have said hi but she was gone before I could. She looked good though, better than some of her associates (that is so not the right word but I can't think of the right word when I have Rob Morrow on the brain).
Claire is a "Blue Team" cheerleader for those that don't know, and they usually cheer for the women's team. The DD's were probably at the game too. She was involved in a not so minor fender bender earlier this week while returning to school from Raleigh. She is fine, just a little shaken up as we all would be. We saw her after the game Wednesday night.
I thought it was the World Wildlife Federation as they sued the World Wrestling Federation several years ago for name infringement, or something like that. Guess it was only the WWF part that chafed them. That's why they became the WWE instead. Fits better anyway with the "entertainment" part, I guess:eek::o
DD, is all ok with your daughter?
He's baaa-aaack!
I love grapefruit man. I really do.

Minor correction: Claire is a "White Team" cheerleader so she cheers for FB and WBB. Next year, hopefully, she will be a "Blue Team" cheerleader and will cheer for FB (at a bowl game, perhaps!), and MBB.
As mentioned on my prior post, I am on call for the weekend so I can not realistically leave town to attend a game. Mrs. devildeac was there with daughter #1.
As OZZIE mentioned, Claire was driving back to Duke on Monday for practice and was stopped in traffic on I-40 and hit from behind just before the Derm Freeway exit. Fortunately, no personal injuries, but we did have >$3400 in damages to her car. We have been dealing with that for the last 5 days. Not fun.
I just did notice while reading this thread that the upper right corner of the thread frame, just above the first post of the page is a series of links that relate to the thread itself. I just did FINALLY click the "Rate this thread" for the LTE.
I apologize LTE'rs for not having voted sooner. Hopefully the results are skewed in favor of the LTE. Where does one see the results?
Thanks,
Lavabe
Good to see some people back in action. Let me know if Morocco is everything I've dreamed about.
My boss came to work with the cold bug that's been going around; I caught it a day or so later. Stayed home from work Thursday. Friday the boss stayed home with pneumonia. I'm feeling a bit of chest congestion now. No wheezing or anything, though. Should I just keep taking Mucinex and cough syrup, or should I go straight to the doctor?
Wow, spend the night at the theater and everything goes crazy!
A pharmacist once told me that Mucinex is worthless unless you drink it with plenty of water. Not just when you take it but for several hours (is it a 4 hour pill? 12 hour?). Keep drinking water. Like a fish. Not nonstop, but fairly frequently. Otherwise the Mucinex won't work.
I waiting for the feature where we can provide commentary on the thread without posting in the thread...
Tilly, you need a new lollipop on Facebook. You have no sucks left.
I'm home from work. Yes, had to work this morning. Home just in time to apparently watch the end of the Louisville/Nova game then the Duke/Nole's game.
LET'S GO DUKE!!!
I looked for you and Mrs. devildeac. Not only did I not see either of you, I did not see daughter #1 (in my family the eldest daughter is referred to as "favorite oldest daughter"). Didn't realize until the game was over that I had your cell phone number on my phone. Figured it was too late to call at that point.
Are any of ya'll going to be at the game Monday night?
P.S. Glad your favorite youngest daughter is okay. Do you have my cell phone number? If so, feel free to give it to her if she needs something while in Durham. As you know my office is not far from campus, and neither is my apartment or my future home.
My boss and his wife and a couple of friends came last night. I was able to sit in the audience and watch my show then head upstairs at intermission for my acting/directing duties. I got to tell the cast that not only did they make me cry, but they made my boss and my boss's wife (MBW) cry, so kudos. MBW also told me that none of the cursing was gratuitous. I tried to count the f-bombs in my play last night but I lost track in the middle.
On the acting side, people laughed throughout the play which is a good thing as it was a comedy. The playwright was happy with the one I directed which is the most important thing to me about that one. Especially since the playwright is also a good friend. My actors were on fire last night too!
Any issues with tree pollen? I had more trouble in NC than Tennessee with tree pollen, I figure it must have been a particular type of tree.
Hey, where'd everybody go?
We're off on the road to Morocco...
The board is alive with the sound of PW'ing...
Not sure how you are going to make 75 posts out of that song...not enough words.
I had too much padding over the holiday season, like millions of other Americans I do hereby re...
Hey, the LTE finally has a rating of 4.5 stars. Looks like it takes 10 ratings before it gets presented.
furious pace here, folks...
Changing votes is not allowed...
anyone visiting the EK forum:o?
I hope the actors resume their fire next weekend.
For that, Delaware must be expelled from the Union!
Looks like we are losing steam here...but a good 45 minutes worth of work.
