I'm guessing you're not talking about the molybdenum mine owned by Climax at Fremont Pass above Leadville, CO? Great country, but rarified air for sure.

I came to DBR last night to read about and comment on Booker’s performance in game four but got sidetracked on this thread and ended up going to the bookshelf and re-reading “A Good Man is Hard to Find.”* Wow. I’d forgotten a lot. On one of the story’s lighter notes, though, the grandkids reminded me of Walker and Texas Ranger from Talladega Nights!
*No reflection on the OP :)
We don’t stay up late enough to watch Succession Sunday evening so have to avoid that thread today.

(I just happened to be passing the track yesterday and finally took a tour)
“Mrs. Hopewell had no bad qualities of her own but she was able to use other people’s in such a constructive way that she never felt the lack.” That’s just so good.
LOL at the astronaut chick who had to drive cross country in a diaper in order to kill her rival. No diaper for this guy (then)!!!!. Her trip took 14 hours, same as mine.
Same company and at elevation, but not sure of the location. Somewhere not too far south of I-70 west of Denver is all I remember - a friend gave me directions. It did get well below freezing overnight in late June and had a glorious sunrise overlooking a lake.
