Today is Wednesday.
Which means first mow of the week done.
Just to update everyone, mulching has been suspended for much of the day due to an inch of snow on the playing surface. Mowing not yet on the horizon, though the plan is to begin around Mother’s Day when the hummingbirds return. Now you know and can rest easy.
We were planning on having a yard sale this weekend, but the forecast is no longer promising, so I have an extra week to get more crap together.
Anyone know anything about vintage skateboards? How much can I get for a 1980s Sims E? No special artwork, just the basic board. Seems they range online from $50-$500. I kinda wanna know before I tag it. Will probably hold onto it for now and maybe find a collector.
Today, my favorite band announced the impending release of a new double album in a few weeks, and that's balm to a weary teacher's soul trying to reach that finish line.
Yes!! I'm legit overjoyed, especially at the news that they're specifically calling it a country album. I like most of my music with at least a little bit of twang, but Wilco's twang has been ever more fleeting over recent years, borderline non-existent since Sky Blue Sky. This is not to say that I don't like that material; to reiterate, they're my favorite band. But I'm especially excited about this one, which will doubtless be in heavy rotation for me throughout the last week of school.
That reminds me, I need to get some mulch.
