The latest is a Kurt Cobain quote predicting the election.
How tall are you all? 6 foot here.
5' 4"
5'10"
The production of A Midsummer Night's Dream that I was in this past summer, one evening before the show when we were all getting into costume, I noticed that all the women in the show were basically the same height. We all stood next to each and measured. There was, at most, an inch between the shortest and the tallest of us, except for Puck. Puck was shorter. We then gave our director some crap about it - hinting that we all at least knew how tall his perfect woman was. ;)
A couple inches shorter than 4.5 of these (individually, of course, not the entire pallet):

This was one of my speeches when I played Lady MacDuff in The Scottish Play last summer (it was my summer of Shakespeare). It's been running through my head all day. Thought I'd share
Whither should I fly?
I have done no harm. But I remember now
I am in this earthly world, where to do harm
Is often laudable, to do good sometime
Accounted dangerous folly. Why then, alas,
Do I put up that womanly defense,
To say I have done no harm?
Who has pets?
Two dogs, two cats, two humans in my house.
5'4 and a half. That half was very important to me as an athlete. Although I went a couple years without seeing some college teammates and when we reunited one said she'd swear I'd grown an inch or two. I haven't measured, but I'm going to claim 5'5
My pets are short.
I have 5 cats. I have been asked to take in more but politely declined. They are all named after an actor in a film with Cary Grant as the star.
I also have five cars...
I have no pets. My youngest son has been promised a guinea pig. We need to go get that.
I fell asleep during the second half.
No pets. I used to think about how fun it would be to have a dog. Then I would housesit and remember why I don't have one - you have to come straight home from work and have to find someone to take care of them when you travel. For quite a few years, I'd make money by taking care of other people's pets. Not a bad trade off - get paid for enjoying other people's pets.
I only have 1 car. It is the correct color but I would still prefer a manual transmission.
I have a 20 year old pickup truck.
