No, the other way, south from London through Rochester and Canterbury to Dover Castle. Paddies knows a lot about medieval history and wants to see as intact a medieval church and castle as he can. Someday we want to go to Burg Eltz in Germany.

My Medicare plan has a $2000 per year allowance for dental work. The dentist bills the plan and for the last few years I have seen nothing billed to me.
Note: In two weeks I'm going in to get a permanent gold crown put in, my last crown for a while. I might see something this year.
interesting...Medicare Advantage I assume, with no co pay or anything? I think I'm good for up to $2000 but have to pay roughly half of cleaning, mouth inspections, crowns and the like...
I know most of the private insurance that you can buy as an individual is a pretty bad deal (not to be confused with plans one gets from an employer). $70/month premium for one person each month, with a max payout of $1500. Better to self insure and pray for no crowns...
You can’t plant any flowers if you haven’t botany.
This whole thread diversion seems pretty seedy to me.
My wife's Medicare advantage plan has dental coverage, but with a provider that restricts you to what are apparently the bottom of the barrel dentists in our county. Fortunately, I can cover here on my work plan, but most of our dental costs lately are not covered by any normal plans. Price of outliving your teeth.
If at the beginning of time you were given the power to press a button that would make it so that earth - and therefore the human race - never exists, would you press the button?
Paddies, who is often too smart for his own good and is, at heart, something of a misanthrope, thinks that the sum total of suffering in the world both inflicted on and/or caused by human existence is a net negative and he would push that button. He says he is not interested in killing people - like Thanos in the Avenger movies - so it's too late, but if he could go back and make it so that we never exist, he'd do it.
I have decided that I would not push the button but I have not yet come up with an argument that passes muster with Paddies yet. My best line of thought is that human existence ain't over yet - there is still time and hope.
How's that for an existential thread diversion?
