Well, if by Limo Service, you mean 2000 Nissan Altima driven by me; and the GC to B&N were in the $20 range, I could meet two of the four conditions. Ymmm, biscuits.

Where is everyone tonight. I feel insomnia creeping up and I'm in need a draft partner. :D
The butt rub magic is back!!!!! Oops, wrong thread.
Yeah it's always brutal going back home. I get lucky though, Mom and Dad are in Charlotte, the rest of the family is in Raleigh. Either way, I get to see the 'rents or aunts/uncles before seeing the rest of Clan Long. This year though, I'm seriously considering cashing in my five weeks of vacation and making a road trip out it; the gas just might be cheaper than a plane ticket.
Got stuck in a social setting in which I had to have a fully caffeinated tea at 130PM. Just the one drink has brought on this short sleep.
So yes, Tilly, I simply had to go cold turkey. I cannot tolerate caffeine-laden beverages.
Cheers,

I'd imagine it all depends on the audience and presenter. I'm sure my friends are sick of hearing me talk about ink on paper and all things that glorious about the printing industry, but I always enjoy the conversation when someone shows an interest in what I do, even though it's a rather obscure segment of the industry.
FWIW, all I want in life is to hug a primate. :D
No you don't. Lemurs have scent glands, apes are too strong, and don't start talking about hugging a monkey. Believe it or not, I was talking about this (in relation to ecotourism) with an orang specialist today. VERY similar thoughts.
More importantly, disease transmission (both ways) remains a very important reason why you don't want to do this.
But yes, the cute factor does reign supreme. A better goal would be to see a few of these guys in the wild. THAT would be better than holding them.

Okay...is this finally the longest thread ever?? If not, I'll keep posting to achieve that goal. GO...longest thread ever!!!!
can you believe that tampa lost that game tonite?????
Okay, now I want to know what you do. I remember the first time I saw a newspaper printing press in action (field trip to the Lincoln Journal Star production facilities) and was hooked. Print on paper, be it book, newsprint, or magazine, is just one of life's little pleasures to me. I've been known to buy a book just because I liked the typeface. I still subscribe to "Dwell" magazine because it's laid out nicely.
Why did I think you were in the tech world?... (Not that print and tech are mutually exclusive.)
That's a royal bummer, my friend. I was wondering if you were up late, or up early.
As for me, I can never get to sleep before early flights. I have to leave for the airport at o-dark-thirty ("what's the o stand for? Oh my god, it's early...") so it feels kind of useless, trying to grab a few hours of shuteye.
Hope you and yours have recovered sufficiently from the flu bug.
