...ArkieDukie.
Where are you?
An APB for EarlJam and Arkie!
Cheers,
Lavabe
Hey Cathy, how's Mom?
I'm off to bed. I'm hoping to be over 7000 when I next read the thread. You've only got a few posts to go west coasters!
Twelve more to be exact.
I'm sure you can do it, I'll help, now it's eleven.
'And so to bed . . .'
OK, English lit majors, who am I quoting? Also, in my directing class, most of them didn't know which Shakespeare play I was referencing when I mentioned something about Titania and Oberon, how about you people?
And now I'm Tate Armstrong! Be still my foolish heart.
Thought I'd do my part here. 6991. Thank you and good night.
I thought there was an outside chance of me passing through StL in the next few days, but that's gone (thanks to the weather). Oh well.
In the meantime, can you give us an update on the traffic and weather in StL this Christmas season? I would just imagine that with all the construction that the winter storm probably nailed a lot of people the other day. Any update on how the InBev layoffs are affecting the city?
Thank,
Lavabe
Not sure about Saint Louis but we have snow on the ground today north of Boston. First real snow of the year. Last year it was closer to Thanksgiving.
6995 here. Last help I can give for a while. I'll make another inspection tour of the majority of I-95 in the next five days. Lots of "windshield time".
I'm driving to Gainesville, Florida today for a short business meeting tomorrow in Alachua (a suburb outside of Gainesville). Then I'm driving back after the meeting so I can drive to DC on Friday and visit with BDBD. Saturday morning we'll trek up to NJ for the Xavier game that afternoon. Then back to Smithfield on Sunday.
So this would be 6996? That has a certain symmetry about it.
Don't want to disappointment my friend Bostondevil.
Today should be a day without snow falling and a tropical heatwave expected - high in the 20s.
So, who is going to be lucky #7000 in the LTE?
Oh, wait - it's me. ;)
7001! Dang, I wasn't fast enough.
Now, where is that highway?
