Rain rain rain...
We had some bad localized flooding this morning. It absolutely opened up yesterday mid-afternoon and came down hard until mid-morning. Raining on and off now but I think we only have one more big band forecast.
I'm looking out my office window at the river -- pretty fast current, high, and awfully brown/red.
Smoky chipotle shrimp tacos, homemade peach salsa and guacamole in the works. Nom-nom-nom.
I have not checked in with the local hurricane expert on Sally today. He's been watching Teddy. We are one storm away from moving into Greek letters. It's only happened once before, 2005. If there are more storms after the one with a W, we'll get Hurricane Alpha, then Beta, then Gamma. Hmmm, let's hope we don't.
So, it happened?
