Some excitement on our little cul de sac yesterday. Neighbors shed went up in flames. No idea how. No one was hurt but it brought out the fire trucks. Explosions as the various gas powered mowers and what not got hit.
Do you know what I hated about the Chick-fil-A cow advertising thing? I was okay with the fact that when the cows first started writing stuff it was all phonetically based and rife with misspellings. But over time shouldn't they have gotten better and more advanced? That always bugged me.
Hah. I've posted multiple times on this thread about my very real issue w/ homophones so I feel like my defense has been well-laid.
I'm terrible at them. I almost always know the correct usage but it's like my mind short-circuits and just auto-pilot types the version of the word that pops up first.
I do it all the time with their/they're/there and know/no and a whole slew of other words.
