"At least five games" is what ESPN is reporting.

That thread is producing some interesting mod behavior. Mods quitting, mods trolling. KI just burning it all down.
StrayGator is a great mod and I would argue so good that I had no idea he was a mod. I think that is suggestive that maybe he was the best one. I have never seen a mod behave how SupaDave has. But I don't think they should close that thread. SupaDave has no business on there. But people should be able to refute antisemitism when it is from one of our own. I defended Kyrie through a lot, but I draw the line at hate speech.
I had vowed to not go to any thread regarding KI, as I was completely over him. But I went back today to see which mod quit, and why. I agree with those who think the mods do an admirable, thankless job. This particular mod is one of my favorites, and I hope he reconsiders, but at the minimum, I hope he continues posting his thoughtful opinions on the board.
Who quit? Don’t want to Wade through all that junk to figure it out.
StrayGator. He’s a very thoughtful guy. It’s a weird thread but involving a series of topics now (lumping in the Jones stuff) about which people are rightfully really emotional. I’m with Kareem; I doubt Kyrie will change and now it’s up for the institutions that surround him to figure out how they’ll deal with him.
Oh no. I really hope Stray sticks around as he is a good poster.
Back to air conditioning weather…
Saving the chili cheese dogs for dinner and a football game.
I stuck my toe in the Kyrie cesspool. You can call me mixer all day if you like. I'm like Paul's uncle. (Kudos to anybody who correctly identifies that reference!)
I completely expect to be attacked for my post, but it will give me a laugh. There are known to me wankers in that thread and I hope I've set them off. If I don't set them off, oh well.
Apparently, there is a daily positive affirmation skill on Alexa enabled devices. The gall that they just suggested I install it. I wonder if it was written by Stuart Smalley.

Met Mtn.Devil for lunch. Great time! He even helped me miss the first 20 minutes of a meeting. What a victory!
I'm starting to understand why the mods initially locked down the Kyrie thread discussion. Still not sure if I agree with that decision (glad it isn't mine to make) but this topic tends to go wide quickly.
I cannot like any more posts in this thread at the moment...well, now.
I have been asked to explain the mixer/Paul's uncle comment.
I'm assuming everyone has seen A Hard Day's Night? I hope that is enough of a hint. If it isn't, I'll explain the whole thing later.
We've always thought of you more as a:

I'm ready for some football...
And I remembered wrong - it's Paul's grandfather! He's a real mixer. (someone who stirs up trouble)

Call Kenny Loggins.
I have to say I was always more partial to Jim Messina’s arrangements Then I ever was of Kenny Loggins as a solo artist. I guess that deserves a “duh”
Messina was very much the underrated part of that duo ... but Loggins had a voice to die for.
Pumpkin pancakes.
The downside to this nice weather is that my grass has started growing again.
Booked my Duke reunion accommodation.
the annual Man vs Rose Bush battle is about to commence. Usually a mismatch. Even with hat, gloves, goggles and long pants I get ripped to shreds...are there no wild animals that eat rose bushes?
I do like the way it looks in the Spring and early Summer, but it expands like the blob when the weather gets warm. I had rejected chemical warfare, but flame is interesting, though it may be a bit too close to the garage for that.
I took a standing eight count, but prevailed...only a dozen scratches or so.

this seems to opine that fire is not a great option..

My ignore list is now 2 people long.
just down the road from us, a driver could have taken the right hand turn or gone to the left, instead he did this:https://www.wcax.com/2022/11/05/car-...-jericho-home/
That happened in my neighborhood in California in '92. Same general time, pre-dawn Sunday; late night drunk driver. Same options, right or left turn went straight. In that case, due to the way the house was laid out, right into the master bedroom causing a fatality.
In my neighborhood here in Texas, similar layout. Early on before they had a bunch of signs, 3 people went through the intersection and into my neighbor's backyard.
I'm probably on a lot of ignore lists...
Pretty sure we're going to El Paso for New Year's, whether or not Duke is playing football there...
Hands-on Children House is a questionable name for a family museum.
Welcome back Wilson!!!!!!!
#65 Wakefield yesterday and #66 Lexington today.
Ran faster today despite not feeling it. Still slow, but not last!
Certain things really grind my gears.
Any suggestions on how to fix my fudged-up thread lists?

Hope so Ymo.
I hate when both games are on the same night at nearly the same time.
snow tire day which means Thai Crispy Duck!
All I'm sayin' is I want one of those hats the students were given last night. I can't find them online. Bucket hats, reversible, blue on one side, and kind of white and blue Hawaiian flowery with Ds on the other side.
It’s a drinkin in front of the TV until the wee hours kind of day.
Time for bed...
I really thought more people would be up.
Yesterday's driving took longer than expected - two blocked lanes of traffic added about 50 minutes at the end of the day. I hope the person being put into an ambulance is going to be ok.
Today will include a trip to Bu-cees. I wonder if they will have a battery operated candle? Are those even a thing?
Feeling froggy after all my toad licking.
Yeah...just yeah.
I'm sure BleuTeuf is raising a glass somewhere.
The wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald was 47 years ago today.
Go ahead, crank it up.
In the summer of 1971, fresh off my Duke graduation, I tended bar at a resort in Minnesota (Brainerd, hello Fargo!) and unfortunately my very best customer for two weeks was a constantly inebriated Gordon Lightfoot...I tried to get him to dial it back (he was a pleasant but morose drunk) but no dice on that.
The irony of the 13 jobs was that I was taking a year of leisure before entering Miami Law School. So I go down to Miami in August of 1972 and I find that I hate the town, was unimpressed with the school, and wondered what I was doing there. Three weeks late I embarked for the Green Mountain State...
(I worked at a golf course one summer, cleaning shoes, bathrooms, clubs, but not during the Year of 13 Jobs.) Loved playing with the golf carts when the manager was gone.

We did, back in December 1963.
