Sigh, middle of the night and here I am.
So . . . should I give my wife the Peloton I ordered a month ago?
Only if she has a good selfie phone that catches all the facial nuance.
I'm extremely excited to see Cats after the terrible reviews for it.
"Cats is the worst thing to happen to cats since dogs"
Now I'm conflicted. I have no use whatsoever for cats, so if it's bad for cats, then I'm on board. But because I've never cared for cats, I've never had any interest in Cats, and while I might wish to revel in cats' misfortune, I'm not sure I want to also contribute to any measure of cultural ascendancy for cats by patronizing Cats.
I’ve seen Cats on 5 separate occasions. I don’t think there was a need for a movie.

First time was on Broadway, early in its run when we lived in Carlisle, PA. Also, saw Joesph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Both of those were with my church group.
The second time I saw it was around ‘87 in Los Angeles(resident cast) with my sister.
Time number #3 was while an undergrad. It was a touring cast in Raleigh, NC. I went with a woman who attended a university a few miles down the road. We went on a few more dates but alas it was not meant to be.
The fourth time was when I lived in Charlotte, NC. This time(‘95 or so) with a woman from Brazil. She and I dated for several years and the question of here or there kept on coming up.
The most recent time was in Nashville in the early aughts. My date that evening was from Nashville. The only job offer I had coming out of grad school was in Greensboro, the relationship was young and I did not have strong record of location stability(Charlotte, Nashville, headed to Greensboro).
So, that’s it. 5 times.
