Very strong work!
Some tough dudes on this gun show thread. ;)

Note that's supposed to read "8 day" total. Hope the after midnight work I did last night is higher quality than that post! I did 75 pushups before going to bed around 2:30. 25 around 12:30, 25 around 1:30 and 25 around 2:30. Had to vary my hand placement a bit this morning to get my first 50 (regular, wide, tight to my sides to hit triceps). I did manager to avoid actual tears. So it's 9:40am and I'm sitting at 125 for the day! Hope to get a total of 200 for the day.
I don't know about tough...like I said in my first post, I'm kinda built for pushups (5'7", relatively short arms, under 150lbs, athlete). Every couple of months a group of my friends that keep a group text going will throw out a pushup challenge so this isn't an unusual thing for me and I enjoy it. Posting numbers and thus having a bit of accountability is always a great motivator for me!
100 done today. About 1,000 now so need to gently pick up the pace back half.
75 yesterday and 100 today!
That gets me up to 1265! Over half way there.
Nrrrvous I credit your awesome challenge for good bench work-out today.
205 x 8 Reps
225 x 6 Reps
245 x 2 Reps
Much better than last week, thanks no doubt to Mon/Tues push-ups.
One gym work-out a week for a 44 yo dude. Do you even lift? ;)

Interesting experiment this little challenge. So for the month of April, I have
1) Developed a wicked UTI
2) Developed an even more wicked reaction to the prescribed antibiotic Bactrim (sulfa). Shock of shocks I've never had a negative reaction to any drug...so now? Really?
3) Been pursued by an Apache helicopter of dubious intent
As a result I'm WAY behind in the p/u challenge. However I've pumped out 160 over the last 36 hours to get my meager total up to 350. Still a long ways to go but I think I have a chance. That Apache crew better be careful, cause next time...just sayin--this gunship is getting up-armored.
As of Thursday I had 1300. For the weekend:
Friday: 225 (75 of those were after midnight Thurs/Fri. I had worked for a while so I basically did 25 at 12:30, 1:30 and 2:30 am and then went to bed with my work done and my arms, shoulders fatigued)
Saturday: 275
Sunday: 150
That puts me at 1950 with 250 to go. I should finish the 2200 tomorrow. I'd go for it today but I have my golf league tonight and I'll need to be able to swing! Big question for me is...once I get to 2200, will I not to any pushups for a while. I have my yearly golf trip next week (Wed-Sun) and wanted to finish this before then so that I won't be sore while playing 4 days in a row and won't have to put down my beer to do the pushups!
Still wimping along with wall push ups. One day behind in the count - I've done 17 days worth of 75/day at this point. Need to catch up and try to get ahead. Goal is to be able to do one "real" pushup by the end of the month.
150 down during a lunch webinar.
Sorry, I've been slacking on my updates.
I took the weekend off. Not planned, just had zero energy. So I knew I had ground to make up.
I've done 125 M/T/W to bring my total up to 1640. Pretty much back on schedule. Or close, at least.
Great to see everybody still going strong!
150 today despite yard work. At 1,500 so need to finish strong.
I finished out last week strong with 125 on Thursday and again on Friday. But then the weekend...
Worked most of Saturday and Sunday replacing boards on our deck. Bent over for hours, hefting 16' pieces of 1x6. Needless to say, I did NO pushups over the weekend.
I think I'm still in good shape. I have 1890 total with 5 days left. 310/5 is definitely doable. (Unless my lower back is unhappy with the work on the deck over the weekend!)
After doing the 2200 pushups I didn't do any for a few days. Two things I realized: first, I could see a difference, second I like doing the pushups. So I did a few today and will do some more later and will likely keep doing 50-100 a day for a while.
