My wife and I are taking the kids to NY for New Years. We have no idea where we can watch the in the Brooklyn Heights area. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

O'Keefe's on Court St. is a solid sports bar in the neighborhood. If you're up for some BBQ, Hill Country in Willoughby Plaza is a good spot to watch games as well.
Might also be fun to walk over the BK Bridge and catch the game at one of the many bars in the Seaport area in Manhattan. Jeremy's Ale House is a favorite of mine - dive bar with good fried seafood.
Enjoy your trip.

I will be leaving my -20 temp in SD to be at this FSU game. I am a HS math teacher and used up all my personal leave in Oct and was thinking of not attending a Duke game this year. But even though the atmosphere won't be the same without the students, I just had to see this team in person.
Sure hope this ends better than the last game I was at-->NCSU last year. :(
I posted this in another thread but thought it bears repeating:
12/5/2016 we beat Tennessee State by only 10, a game in which we led by 4 at the half and by 3 with 12 minutes left in the game.
12/21/2016 we beat Elon by only 10 (the Grayson tripping game). They were up 1 at the half and we led by only 4 with 16 minutes left.
12/30/2015 we trailed Long Beach State for most of the first half, before entering halftime up by 6
12/29/2014 we led Toledo by only 4 at the half
These post-holiday break games are always a grind. It was encouraging that we shot so well against Evansville after the exam break, but the difference is that during that break the team continued to practice every day. I知 expecting a close game but if we play to our strengths we should be able to pull it out.

coach K thinks we will be ready...
Man, I think I scheduled my flight back to West Coast at around this time (what moron had that idea?!). Still, I値l watch as much as I can before I have to leave!
Duke is 0-1 in conference play and about to face #24 FSU in Cameron without many of the Crazies. Will the non-students fill the building and make some noise?
Coach K shared this exact concern recently, and an FSU player, of all people, put him at ease.
"K... people will come, K. They'll come to Durham for reasons they can't even fathom. They'll turn up your driveway not knowing for sure why they're doing it. They'll arrive at your door as innocent as freshmen, longing for the past. Of course, we won't mind if you look around, you'll say. It's only $500 per person. They'll pass over the money without even thinking about it: for it is money they have and peace they lack. And they'll walk out to the student section, and stand in shirtsleeves on a perfect afternoon. They'll find they have to stand somewhere along one of the sidelines, where the Crazies on TV cheered their heroes. And they'll watch the game and it'll be as if they dipped themselves in magic waters. The memories will be so thick they'll have to brush them away from their faces. People will come, K. The one constant through all the years, K, has been basketball. America has rolled by like an army of steamrollers. It has been erased like a dry erase board, rebuilt and erased again. But basketball has marked the time. This court, this game: it's a part of our past, K. It reminds of us of all that once was good and it could be again. Oh... people will come, K. People will most definitely come."
- Terance Mann, junior guard, Florida State University
Well, if you have to explain the joke...
TERANCE Mann plays basketball for Florida State. His name is very close to TERENCE Mann, James Earl Jones' character in Field of Dreams. I took his famous speech about Iowa's worst producing cornfield and repurposed it for Cameron.
