Wise Man brews a GABF award-winning outstanding Irish red ale named Outraged Daughters (amirite, RJ199? ;)) which happened to be on their tap list today but does not appear on their to-go list. This one *might* appear again on Saturday. Another one to look for would be a Fullsteam dry Irish stout called Shenanigans, IIRC, from my Total Wine excursion yesterday. That one I haven't tasted but Fullsteam is another brewery where it's really difficult to recall a bad beer I've ever tasted from their product line.
Tonight's stout has been brewed since about 1759...

Overall impression-I'd like to side by side this with a true German Kölsch as this was quite good, meeting or perhaps exceeding expectations
Ymm, Beer rating-high cat 2; it wasn't exciting but I really enjoyed it with a BBQ chicken salad because it is a well brewed product

"Our Double IPA! We smell a ton of peach on the nose, with complimentary notes of orange and passionfruit. The flavor is similar with a blast of citrus fruit & peach quickly followed by a bounty of tropical fruit. A lingering and pleasant saturated hop oil finish awaits. . . . A real juice bomb of a beer!"
As the name indicates, this beer felt like a NEIPA while also being a double. Heavy citrus flavors and finishes just a little bitter. Outstanding once again and dangerously drinkable for 8%.
Only one Tree House beer remains :(
Today's interview went well. The office is 5 minutes from Stella:cool:
Seriously.
Having a Festival Express IPA at Foothills. Sort of reminds me of the Wanderlush from highland. Lower abv (5.7) but not quite to the session category. I think I may prefer Wanderlush a tad more, but it's close. This one has more citrus/orange notes than the melon/lemon of Wanderlush. Solid Cat 2.
