For any in New York that like IHOP and beer, there are apparently a small number of IHOPs offering a limited seasonal beer.
The description reads intriguing.

From last PM:
Bicoastal IPA-Redhook Ales Brewery
Part of their new Redhook Limited Release packages.
Trader #3 from August West on Saturday. Thanks again!
Another surprising Redhook (cough 32% InBev cough) offering.
Poured from a 12 ounce somewhat tall and slender bottle into a standard pint glass. Their "mashup between a hazy NEIPA and a tropical West Coast IPA" is a reasonable description. Color was yellow-orange with minimal haziness. Nice tropical and citrusy scents with the usual suspects on the palate including grapefruit, pineapple, passion fruit and some dank, piney flavors. Overall, a bit short of bold IPA standards but I was pleasantly pleased as I sipped this 65 IBU, 7.1% east meets west IPA.
From 8/25/17:
From last PM:
Big Ballard-Redhook (JUN2418; 32% InBev) Ale Brewery
A bit of Redhook history: "Big Ballard Imperial IPA pays homage to our original stomping grounds in the Ballard district of Seattle in 1981."
The 4th and final drop from August West at Saturday tailgate.
Pretty similar impressions to 13 months ago. I've never head of Alchemy hops, the C-hops make it a bit piney but not overly so and their experimental HBC-431, Mosaic and Eureka varieties impart the tropical and citrusy flavors. Very favorable assortment of Redhook IPAs that I'd likely never think of buying but was very happy to receive as traders and taste the last couple evenings.
This is somewhat beer related so I'll share it here.
A few weeks ago a good friend of mine entered a 30 second commercial contest for Asheville Brewing. With the help of yours truly, his video finished 3rd overall

Don't feel too bad that we didn't win, the first place finisher was made by his equally talented wife starring him and his pups Sammy and Bailey.

There are some hounds in the devildeac family that might pull a stunt like that.

A wine magazine reporting on dessert stouts???
Had the Southern Tier, not familiar with the other four.
and bringing some of the brews from Total Gravity that placed highly in a recent national contest. Any Hardywood brews, or other locals here, that anyone might care for?
I just traded 4 Allagash Curieux with accfanfrom1070 and got Prim Looking Stargazer, Foolery, an Ardent 2017 BBA Honey Ginger and an Ardent 2017 BBA Dark Rye so I'm in good shape. If you wanted to join us at tailgate for some tastings, you could surprise us with a Hardywood Cuvee Gold or a Rum Barrel Aged Pumpkin brew (not sure which ones are in season now or have been retired) to share.
Thanks for thinking of us with your offer!
As of right now, this might be the best selection, the Woodman's Food Market at I-94 and Wisconsin 50:

Prices were reasonable there when we went in June.
Order has been sent. We'll see what happens.
I always thought that I liked beer too much to ever become a federal judge.
Apparently, not.
Ymmm...
