SoPines Brewing told me something like that (and I think put it prominently on their cans) when I picked up a couple of their fruit beers.

"Center of the Earth Monkey’s Uncle
Lemongrass Tripel
Brass gold pour, no head.
Has that good Belgian candi sugar yeasty nose.
Reminds me of Big Boss Hell’s Bells.
Maybe I don’t know what Lemongrass tastes/smells like.
A huge thanks to Nrrvous"

"Hot Pistol Stout - American
7% ABV NoDa Brewing Company Charlotte, NC...
...After the beer is in the fermenter, we add raspberry puree to add a unique, fruity aroma of fresh raspberries that act like the “raspberry (instead of cherry) on top of the desert”. After fermentation is finished we steep the beer on several pounds of dried habanero peppers and the inject them into the beer."
A featured beer on tap at Bottle Rev today. I have no idea about other forms of packaging.

Speaking of Veil, another anonymous Veil review (with permission):
"Veil Deathless
Veil makes a Marzen/Octoberfest!!!
(Today I learned!)
Super frothy head.
Gorgeous copper colour.
A little ambivalent on the actual taste.
I swear there is a fruitness akin to there other beers like they reused a not quite clean enough fermenter.
Has a bit of a nutty finish.
I don’t generally think of Marzen’s as exotic.
I’m also pretty sure I would not have called this a Marzen in a blind tasting.
Really good, really unexpected.
Thanks again, accfanfrom1970!"

"Brueprint Briarpatch Sour
Fantastic.
Purpley in colour.
Sour berry delight."
Foothills Thousand Smiles Golden Ale
More like a lager than a traditional golden ale. More German than Belgian in its profile. But a super-refreshing, tasty beer. Widely available. Hard to go wrong with this.
