I was talking to a friend and FTing came up. I was trying to remember the name of the kid who was (sort of) competing with Redick for the FT % record. Does anyone remember who that was and how he ended up?
His name was Blake Ahearn, and he blew Redick away in percentage (shooting 94.6% making 435 of 460 attempts). He also holds the single season record at 97.5%. He has played for the Miami Heat briefly. This is all according to Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blake_AhearnQuote:
