This is no JoeKing matter. The boot is not to be truffled with.

The boot is precautionary and he should be fine

I don’t think the boot should preclude him from playing. Just go to a 4 man zone and have Joey Buckets cherry pick on the other end of the court and pop set-shot threes. Solved. You’re welcome.

If they put a wheel in the heel like Sketchers, this could really be a net-positive.

Only if it's from Roy's bus.

So Joey will be making buckets again soon enough.
Boot and rally?

No Joey tonight in Littlejohn. Sprained ankle. Like the rest of us, his status is day-to-day. *sigh*

Again, I'm sorry

Why oh why did I write an article about how we finally had depth and a 10 man rotation? I jinxed an 8-man rotation into existence.
On a more serious note, tonight's game becomes even more of a potential "trap" game. Clemson is riding high after ending the streak, while we'll be down two key players and potentially looking ahead to Louisville on Saturday. Staying out of foul trouble will be key.

So, we have gone from 5 wing players to 3... that hurts. It is time for AOC to get back to being hot from the outside. I wonder if we might see a bit of Jack White on the wing this game.
Good thing we know that Goldwire can play 35+ minutes. I suspect that he and Stanley will each top 30 this game.

Baker out tonight vs Clemson

So that's good. Yet, aren't we all.

How many games must be missed before we start a vigil?
Asking for a friend...

Jack is shooting a bit better and it certainly helps to have Goldwire playing well. That said, Duke is not going to be able to play defense as hard as in previous games. Jones will need to continue to shoot well- something that I am not sure can be counted on. But injuries are part of the season.

Starting lineup: Jones, Goldwire, Stanley, Hurt, Carey
Bench; O’Connell, White, Javin
That’s plenty of depth and versatility. Clemson isn’t very deep themselves. Eight is enough!
