Yep. The current grain bill and yeast selection has been mostly narrowed down and at it's current state should come in at 5.4% and 32 IBUs. According to Untappd, Satan's Pony is 5.3% and only 12! IBUs. I also noticed they used carared, which is intriguing.
The grist is pretty complex and hops will be in the background, but considering Centennial or Chinook. Centennial should give subtle floral/citrus notes, and that is the direction he is heading. Will use about 1/4 of the amount of hops that were in the pale ale.

Ymm, Beer rating-middle tier cat 3; can't really agree it's a TIPA but it's a fantastic IIPA or NEDIPA; happy to have another can with the first 2 going to our son
Some bloviation from Untappd:
"Using the biggest dose yet of our 2020 hand selected Citra, Climb The Ballmer Peak Batch 2 is here.
The Ballmer Peak - Steve Ballmer of Microsoft discovered a correlation between cognitive ability, creativity, problem solving, and performance after you indulge in an alcohol beverage. This sweet spot is known as the Ballmer Peak. When we had the pleasure of having JC from Trillium here, we talked about how much we loved the Ballmer Peak collaboration we brewed in Canton in back in 2019 (possibly mid-peak). Keeping the recipe similar, we wanted to revisit the beer that helped form precious moments, enhanced BBQ recipes, friendships, and of course delicious recipes. To help you obtain this experience, we will help you Climb the Ballmer Peak.
Climb The Ballmer Peak uses our Super fractal base and fermentation and is hopped exclusively with hand selected Citra. This TIPA pours an opaque bright orange and has an intense juice forward aroma of Mango, Passionfruit, Pineapple, and Rainbow Melon. We don’t know exactly what rainbow melon is, but we want to stay true to our emotional responses that occur while we Climb the Ballmer peak. Flavors and bright notes of deep navel orange, drippy peach, passionfruit, grapefruit and lime go along with a touch of berry and lychee in a juicy and thick mouthfeel. The EQ juice profile is extreme, and this beer can easily pass as a juice drink, although reaching your Ballmer Peak after just a few sips may say otherwise."
On Your Marks. Get Set. Bacon!
Yep, that's really a beer. Good place for it, too, on a beer thread.
Tuesday is dry/dark.

Impromptu Stella run. More New Anthem, and the last two Incendiary key lime pie sours. Et al.
Late report:
AOTK also highly appreciated by our son during last visit so another shout aloud to TW for this one.
A big 10-4 on The Vapors, plus 3 other New Anthem selections (to be listed later ;)). I'm good with lactose; no GI issues and I'll delve no deeper into that for fear of TMI, which wouldn't be the first time a topic like that was mentioned on deeber.
Thanks!!
