Muffle them? Or stop them? And if stopping, temporarily, or something longer lasting?

I don't see "threats of bodily or mental harm," on the list....

Sorry, EJ, I need more information before I can give an appropriate answer.

I agree with DevilAlumna -- more info is needed.

Personally I've usually felt that screams of most sort are healthy, needed and cathartic.

Trick question. Everyone knows that only duck tape can muffle. All of the other options stop screams of terror. So I've heard.

I'm sure glad no one would ever think of just trying cool calm reasoning, that would be the fast track to the popo... unless you either

A) Have someone they care about in your custody
or
B) Make them believe you can hurt someone they care about whenever you want to.

I was refering to "Duct Tape." Here in the South, the extreme heat and humidity tends to wear on Duck Tape, causing loss of adhesiveness through stretching and quacking.

It's widely debated but some I believe the consensus is that it started Duck, then when duct, and now there's a brand of Duck products; one of many manufacturers of duct tape. I prefer to go with Duck, well because I don't tape many ducts with the stuff, and I figure if you get a chance to go with Duck, you should. That's how I roll.

I would suggest decapitation. Though that tends to be permanent.
