Good story on new Duke quarterback recruit Sean Schroeder out of Dana Hills high school. Duke head coach David Cutliffe is starting to bring some talented to the woeful Blue Devils. Maybe we can finally cheer in the fall like we do in the winter and the spring.

“Coach Cutcliffe has put two Manning brothers in the NFL. He was a major reason (I committed),” Schroeder said.

Schroeder said he did not have any other offers. He said a potential big senior season leading to more scholarships would be enticing but that he has made a firm decision.

“This is 100 percent. I don’t think there’s going to be a better offer than Duke.”
