- Stanford head coach Johnny Dawkins has rounded out his staff with the announcement of assistant coaches Dick Davey, Rodney Tention and Mike Schrage joining the Cardinal.

Mike will be greatly missed at Duke.

Schrage is a wonderful person and one of the most organized people I have ever known. I wonder, though, if Stanford will have one student manager per player this coming year too?

Successful organizations tend to have people behind the scenes, under the radar, who do wonderful things without getting a lot of publicity. Mike has filled that role admirably for Duke.
