Easy now. Is Zeke a 4 or a 5?

Would he fit in with Shelden and Candace's oldest?

Shouldn't we check available scholarships for that '27/'28 season?

almost 2 feet long and over 8 pounds - that's a big baby.

I don't know about the height (or is it called length?), but 8 lb is only slightly above average for a newborn these days - this site (http://social.jrank.org/pages/100/Birthweight.html) says an average baby born (actually says median) in the US weighs 7lb 11oz (7.7 lb). I have a feeling women who've given birth before probably want to kill me right now for saying an 8lb baby is not big :)

Just saw that his first name is Zeke - I guess Shane was a fan of Isiah, or maybe it's a family name, but I just don't think Zeke Battier is a good name... Hopefully he'll just go by his middle name or something :-p

I am straight up drooling at Battier in the front court and Parker-Williams in the backcourt! National title, here we come!

Wonder if Roy will have won one with his own players by then?

I know you're joking but, wouldn't that be Williams-Parker? The dad's last name goes first for the kid, mom's last name goes first for the mom. Kinda funny, I have a friend named "Parker Williams," so that in itself could be a good name.

Actually, it can go however you want it. I have what the British call a "double-barreled" last name and my mom's last name is first, followed by my dad's

But how does everyone know that the man is in charge of the family, etc., if his name does not come first?

Of course, you could go preppy and name the kid Parker Williams-Parker.

So, is Zeke short for Ezekiel (strength of God)? Shane was a religion major, if I recall correctly.

Why is Shelden's kid in the backcourt? I guess his wife must be a guard. I don't follow women's hoops. Still, even if his mom's a guard, I have to figure any child of Shelden's to be a forward of some kind, just based on girth.

His fiancée is Candace Parker, a 6'4" professional basketball guard/forward! The genes might allow any offspring to be really tall.

IIRC, Candace Parker is about 6'4" and has been known throw one down on occasion (dunks, not brews-that's another thread on the OT board:D). I suspect any children will have the height and wingspan to play almost any position on the court, 'cuz you know we don't play "postions" in K's system and we never have enough PG or "bigs" (;)).

I know this is ridiculously silly, but from what you've added here, it still sounds like the kid would play in the frontcourt.

You guys are probably right; both into the front court!
