Very interesting choice, considering Del Negro has no coaching experience. Not that there's anything wrong with that necessarily, but it is surprising.

Yes, it's definitely odd. It's odd that the Bulls hired Del Negro considering that the Suns (who also needed a coach) didn't interview Del Negro. And it's odd that he's never coached at any level before.

It is odd but I hope it works out. Always loved Vinny as a college player. I have very fond memories of him hitting two key FTs to help upset UNC in the '87 ACC Finals.
