I saw that and laughed--how do you not know that it moved to another coast?

It must have left in the middle of the night - like the Baltimore Colts. :)

Anyone else also think it's funny that there's a Lighthouse Digest? I may have to think about giving my husband a subscription for his birthday!

This can be easily explained. Whidmore was getting close and Jacob said it was the only way to save the lighthouse.

How sad, now whoever moved it can't ever go in it again!
I wonder if that poor soul was teleported to Tunisia?

There are a LOT of people who are very in to lighthouses, especially in NC with "Old Baldie" on Baldhead Island, the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse, etc. My late father in law loved the things. Had books about them, visited them on vacation, etc.
