Who is our coach in 2017? I think WoJo is the next in line.

2016-17, or 2017-18? Wojo turns 40 in August 2016.

Mike Krzyzewski will be only 69 at the beginning of the 2016-17 season. One can dream. Give him three gray hairs on the game.

I think Wojo will have to go elsewhere first as a head coach and someone else might take over first.

Johnny Dawkins will be Duke's next coach guranteed.

Dawkins may get another job first. :(

I wonder what we on the boards will be complaining about then.

JD is going nowhere. He has no desire to. He has his NBA earnings stocked away and coaches at Duke for the love of it.

JD will either become the next Head Coach or he will retire when Coach K does.

Virtually the exact same stuff.

Virtually the exact same stuff.

So we won't be in the midst of a Final Four streak, then. Darn. :(

I think it's pretty much a lead-pipe cinch that JD will be the next coach if he wants to. After that, however, there's another crop of former Blue Devils potentially waiting in the wings.

Since we were just defeated by an assortment of his players, and in light of his continued rise through the coaching ranks, is Jeff Capel perhaps creeping up the list?
