An NBDL Championship (http://www.nba.com/dleague/games/20080425/AUSIDA/recap.html), that is. His Idaho Stampede beat Quin Snyder's Austin Toros. Apparently McRoberts had a momentum altering alley-oop.

Funny. That's the only thing he could do at Duke as well. It's too bad the oop against LSU wasn't momentum altering.

Being slightly familiar with the NBADL because of a team in my home town. Idaho was a pretty stacked team in the league. You can just read the names mentioned in the story and recognize names from college and alot of these guys had decent stints in the NBA.

IMO Josh will be in the NBDL next year as well. Josh's numbers not looking good to get him sent up. I would guess a lot would depend on what Oden might want when its all said and done.

He was pretty good at juking people in the open court with a behind the back dribble.

His float tip left hand-right hand-any hand shot was worth a few hundred points as well.

I confess, I started watching the game after the Pistons tanked theirs and the Tigers just missed last night....

At least the fans were animated and there was no NBA arena canned noise-making. Just an organ, and it was a refreshing change of pace. Granted the hoops were pretty 'meh" but Randy Livingston made me teary-eyed, considering how determined he's been. Twelve years trying to get to the bigs and the guy gets to claim a trophy in his last game? And he was truly excited and grateful to the fans and the town. I smell a movie script.
