The championship was not decided today until the final hole. It was great golf all around and will long be remembered. Congratulations to the ladies.

Wow, the "notes" at the end of that GoDuke.com article are pretty impressive.

The title marks the 108th ACC Championship in Duke history for all sports and the first in the 2007-08 season.
It marks Duke's 58th championship in spring sports, third most in the ACC, and 47th in women's sports, second most in the ACC. It's also the 39th championship this decade, second most among ACC schools.
The 16th championship for women's golf is the most among ACC schools and matches the program with the men's basketball team for most ACC championships for Duke sports.
Duke has now won at least one ACC Championship every season since 1979-80 and in 44 of 55 years of the league's existence.
The women's golf run of 13 straight championships is the second-longest streak in school history behind women's tennis (14). It is also the longest current streak in the ACC for all sports and is the third longest streak in women's sports in ACC history.

Congrats, team, and Congrats, Amanda Blumenhurst, on your titles as ACC Team and Individual Champs.

Congrats to the ladies and Amanda Blumenhurst, who both won ACC championships -- Amanda for the 3rd straight year, the team for the 13th year in a row!

Poor UVa. Its player, Jennie Arseneault, who had just made a birdie on 17 to give UVa the lead, stumbled to a triple bogey on the 18th hole of the last round (approach shot out-of-bounds). This apparently cost UVa the championship. Yikes! [When she had her problem, it forced UVa to substitute another golfer -- low four out of five scores -- thereby losing the birdie at 17.]

Duke clinched when Amanda got up-and-down on 18 for a par against her opponent's bogey.

I second the WOW!!

Dare we use the "D" word here?

Duke WGolf is world class, and with the recent successes of WBball, WVolleyball, WLacrosse, WSoccer, WFieldHockey and WTennis, our young women are, top to bottom, maybe the best in the country.
