Hey all!

Here is the story;

I was in Tent #2 my Freshman year (G.Hill to the title game) and Tent #1 my Sophomore year (Gaudet.) Both of those years, and in all the years since, I've watched just about every single Duke game with a fellow Dukie.

At the start of this season (we graduated in 97) he moved across the country, and obviously it kind of stinks!

Anyway, he is coming back into town in two weeks, and I thought it would be a cool surprise to get a copy of the 2001 title game for us to watch and reminice over. Is there any friendly Dukie here who might have that on DVD and be willing to make a copy for a fellow Blue Devil?

If so, an email at grenadierguardscampaigns@yahoo.com would REALLY be appreciated!

Thanks!

(P.S. I hope this post is okay here? Since it is basketball, I figured it wasn't off topic. Thanks!)

If no one will burn you a copy, you can buy it on DVD for $25 at Amazon.com (http://www.amazon.com/2001-NCAA-Division-Basketball-Championship/dp/B000NO2FUG/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1208223150&sr=1-2)

I was hoping to get it to watch on TV... watching online just isn't the same:) You know... get a big bag of chips, plop on the couch, and recreate that night from six years back, just without the whole stomachs-turning-flip-flops? Ah Shane, with that reverse tip in!

I know I could buy it, but the wife and I just bought a new house, and we are in penny pinching mode. I actually had to turn in my one dollar receipt from my bagel this morning to the lady in charge;) No more breakfasts for me!

Any help would be very welcome:)

You can buy it on iTunes. Then all you need is an AppleTV. :)

I have a VHS of the game.

If you would like, I could make a copy and send it to you through UPS or USPS (in a highly cushioned envelope or even a bubble wrap-filled box)!

You'd have to pay for the shipping, but it would be cheaper than buying a $25 DVD or bother watching it online.

We could work something out - I have paypal.

You can also get it on that new NCAA Archives website, pretty much ANY NCAA tournament game from the previous 25 years on a DVD. Ive already ordered my copy of Duke v UNLV 1991, Duke v Kansas 1991, Duke v Kentucky 1992, Duke v Michigan 1992, AND the Duke v Arizona 2001 games. I cannot wait to get them! Dang those were some great freakin teams.

Drag, I can't find it anymore. Glad I picked it up when I did.

Also, it wasn't the entire game, just a 15 minute compilation of most of the key plays / score.

Just wanted to say a very public thank you to Jacone21, who at his own cost made me a DVD of the Duke/Arizona game and sent it along to me... in a birthday card, no less, which caused my lovely wife to ask "Uhhh... who is sending you a card in a pretty yellow envelope from Georgia?"

So thanks so much!

It should be noted that Agent Zero could only muster 10 pts against us with teammates like Richard Jefferson. Thats a pretty far cry from the 85 he said he'd lay on us by himself.
