Aside from UCONN has any school won both the Men's and Women's title in the same year ?

Doesn't go directly to your question, but Florida's winning both the basketball and football (without a true playoff system, granted) national championships in the same year is awfully impressive IMO.

Only 2 schools have had both their men's and women's basketball teams in the national championship game in the same year. We did it in 1999 (lost both games :( ) and UConn won both games in 2004.

I was in Tampa for the men"s final, and it was so exciting and then so deflating to lose both. Doc

I was going to put this before you did, and I think it's more impressive than winning men's/women's bball.
