I see advertisements like this on reputable websites. Are these legit or are they just going to ask me for my credit card information or bank acct info?

It looks like there are a lot of hoops you need to jump through according to the fine print at the bottom, including the "purchase may be required" bit.

They send a PIN to your cellphone and I'd bet my bottom dollar that this involves a cost of some sort.

While I'm not familiar with the site, I'm 100% sure this is a scam. Like those "win a free ipod" things

I read a magazine article a while back(5-6 months) where I guy entered all of these things. They are legitimate, but you may have to buy something and it is time consuming. These tend to dissuade many people from completing the offer.

There is no way that driver is legit. It's an Excelsior Class Starship from Star Trek. You can tell by the trademark... oh wait, that is wasn't what you're asking. Still though, I don't think it's legit.
